ACCA知识点：E-business 电子商务

一、定义

E-business 是指通过电子手段(electronic means)实现整个业务流程的自动化(automation of business processes)，这个可能局限于使用电子邮件(email)，也可能扩展到功能齐全的网站或电子市场(website or e-marketplace)。

二、与普通业务相比的区别

E-business带来的六项收益如下：

成本降低(Decrease the costs)

能力(生产能力等)增加(Develop the capability)

通信的改进(Improving the communications)

控制增强(Enhancing the control)

客户服务改进(Improving the customer service)

竞争优势可以实现(Might achieve the competitive advantage)

电子商务流程不仅包括在线营销和销售 online marketing and sales，还包括供应链supply-chain和渠道管理 channel management、制造 manufacturing 和库存控制 inventory control、财务运作 financial operations 和整个组织的员工工作流程。

三、与e-commerce相比较

包括金融交易financial transaction的e-business被称为e-commerce。

E-business经常与e-commerce相混淆。

(a)利用因特网技术进行电子交易的任何交易(transactions with an electronic process using internet technologies)都是e-business。

(b)如果使用互联网电子设备进行的金融交易(financial transactions)，是e-commerce。例如，在某购物网站上买一本书既是e-commerce，也是e-business。利用某个地图网站创建一个地图的指示从办公室到邮局，这是e-business(这是不涉及e-commerce的)。
